The UK Electronic Medicine Association United States Chapter Presents The Endocrine System, Body Balancing & Native American Healing with Dr James Odell, Dr Rodney Hard, Tim Atkinson & Chief Cloudpiler
Friday 14th - Sunday 16th November, 2008 The Heather Loch room, Executive Inn West, 830 Phillips Lane, Louisville 40209
Saturday, 15th (9am – 5pm) Tim Atkinson & Chief Cloudpiler “Native American Healing Practices” “Elats Kowat” is the Sacred Bodywork done by the Mayans. This modality was lost due to Spain invading Mexico; however, abdominal massage was able to be preserved by native midwives. Today, Chief Cloudpiler is one of several people who have the responsibility of translating and demonstrating how this modality works. “Elats Kowat” means a small furry animal going back into its burrow. To the healing process this means that one can go back to his/her original state before the suffering began. In naturopathy, this is known as homeostasis. “Elats Kowat” was traditionally done on the floor and is a blend of Thai, Chiropractic, acupuncture - acupressure, lymphatic drainage, muscular-skeletal release, range of motion, and much more. We have blended “Elats Kowat” combined with Quantum Enerchi Cards to facilitate a speedier healing. Because of this success, Cloudpiler and I have been invited to a university in Mexico to demonstrate this method to its teachers. Phillip “Cloudpiler” Landis is the maternal great great grandson of renowned Nez Perce Chief Hinmot Tooyelaketkt (Joseph). As a Medicine Man and Traditional Spiritual Leader, recognized by the Oklevueha/Sioux Nation Native American Church, and as a National Board Certified Traditional Naturopath, Cloudpiler unites traditional Native American Religion with Traditional Natural Healing, effectively restoring the Sacred in Healing. In 2003, Cloudpiler was unanimously elected Principle Medicine Chief of the Nemenhah Band and Native American Traditional Organization and has been sustained as Head of the Band. Under the Constitution of the Nemenhah Band, Chief Cloudpiler is authorized to offer Permanent Membership by way of Spiritual Adoption into the Band to all Natural Healers of good intention. He teaches the principles espoused in the Native American Free Exercise of Religion Act of 1993, as well as in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People. For the first time, Natural Healers may place themselves squarely under the protection of the Law De Facto, as well as De Jure of the Land.
Sunday, 16th (10:30am – 12:30pm) Dr. James O’Dell, O.M.D. “Energetic Anatomy and its Interface with the Endocrine System” “Focal interference fields and their affect on the pituitary- thyroid - adrenal axis.” This presentation will outline energetic anatomy as described in traditional Chinese medicine and further explore the interconnection of meridians/organ physiology to the endocrine system. Focal diseases and energetic fields of disturbance will be discussed in relation to meridian integrity and their detrimental affects on the pituitary-thyroid-adrenal axis. Diagnostic hormone testing using the latest laboratory assays will be presented. Contact regulation thermography as a way of isolating the foci or interference field will also be described with case examples. Dr. James O’Dell has been practicing naturopathic health care for over 25 years. Sunday, 16th (2pm – 4:30pm) Dr. Rodney Hard, D.C. “Priority System for Body Balance” Learn how to use a special acupuncture graph/wheel and Applied Kinesiology muscle testing to find the priority problem meridian (energy/organ system). Balance the body’s energies using a combination of acupressure points, meridian tracing, Golgi tendon reflexes, muscle spindle reflexes, neurolymphatic reflex points, and neurovascular reflex points. Body Balance is based on the concept of balancing the body’s muscles, balancing the acupuncture meridian energy system, and restoring normal free-flowing energy. When free of obstructions, the body can more easily heal itself. During 1977-1981, Dr. Hard took numerous seminars in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and psychology from the Center for the Application of Behavioral Sciences at St. Louis University, the Proseminar Institute of San Francisco, California, and Larry Short of the Chrysalis Fellowship in Mill Valley, California. Dr. Hard became certified as a Touch for Health instructor after completing 60 hours of training in acupressure, reflex points, applied kinesiology and communication. He taught Touch for Health at several hospitals and colleges in the St. Louis area. In 1981, Rodney graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. That year he completed 100 hours of post-graduate studies in Applied Acupuncture through Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Hard is a Diplomat of American Academy of PAIN Management, a Diplomat of American Board of Disability Analysts, and Certified by North American Academy of Impairment Rating Physicians.
