“Basic Principles of Energy Medicine”

This workshop will describe the basic tenets of Energy Medicine from the perspective of the Western sciences of biology and physics. Classical physics and quantum physics will be used to describe the properties of traditional electromagnetic (EM) energy and non-classical subtle energies. The energetic properties of the body will be described in Western scientific terms as well as esoteric terms. Traditional biological generators of EM energy (biochemical oscillators) will be detailed as well as non-traditional sources of subtle energy (biophotons, higher dimensional energies). The propagation of theses endogenous bio-energies throughout the body will be described not only within the meridian system, which is not recognized by traditional Western science, but also within the vascular system (water), the breath (air), the nerves (bio-electricity) and the extracellular matrix space between all cells (physicality). Endogenous EM and subtle energies in the healthy and diseased body will be described.

Once a description of the endogenous subtle energies within the body are understood, it becomes clear how the imbalances associated with and preceding physical diseases can be normalized. A basic tenet in Energy Medicine is that external energy systems can resonate with endogenous energies within the body. The various energy devices commercially available will be discussed to understand the type of energy they generate and how these energies resonate with bio-energy.

In addition to understanding bio-energy from a Western Scientific point of view, the perspective of Eastern spiritual traditions will be presented. Ancient writings have depicted in detail the nature of the many layers of subtle energies within the mind and body. For example not only do they describe the nature of prana, but they further detail five different types of prana which have different functions within the body. Parallels between Western and Eastern approaches will be drawn throughout the presentation.

In the final part of this seminar, the knowledge learned in the first part will be applied to understanding of the energetic nature of consciousness. This will be an experiential and group effort to come to a consensus definition of consciousness in Western scientific terms.

Healing Yourself with Homeopathic First-Aid Part I
Our society is overwhelmed with drugs for each and every daily situation that arises. Fortunately, there is a safer and better way to take care of those bumps, bruises, colds and aches and pains. According to one
Illinois medical doctor who is also a homeopath, eighty-five percent of everything that occurs in the home with people or animals can be corrected with the contents of a simple homeopathic kit.
Using audio/visual resources, we will explore the wonders of this home Rx and discover how “less is really more.”

Sunday - 1.30 pm until 3 pm

Healing Yourself with Homeopathic First-Aid Part II
In this session we will continue our “discovery” process of the “kit”.
There will also  be some surprises as we compare the work of two German scientist/researchers and see how  energy patterns can identify pathology. Those in attendance will experience and learn new visualization techniques for self-healing.  A video presentation will be included.
